UC Controller

As part of the University of California, Office of the President Systemwide Controller’s office, the Investments and General Accounting team manages centralized accounting and financial reporting for endowment funds, campus foundations, other UC-affiliated organizations, and deferred gifts. This includes participant accounting for various investment pools, investment transaction recording and reconciliation, and managing accounting and recording investment activity for retirement plan funds.

We maintain the investment and endowment records for UC, oversee the general ledger for UCOP, and provide expertise on accounting and financial matters to various UC business partners and departments. We provide comprehensive client services to campuses, medical centers, UC Retirement System (UCRS), UC foundations, UC-affiliated organizations, and UCOP departments.
